Another Frax fractal rendering. It's been a while since I did this one and can't recall for sure, but I presume this is from the Julia set rather than the Mandelbrot set, where such spirals are much more prevalent.

I like the muted colours of this one. The striations also make it look a bit like a cross section of a nautilus shell or some other kind of mollusc yet to be discovered somewhere in the depth of the sea.
