Artist's Description
A photo from a sunny forest walk in Scotland, using the widest setting of my wide angle lens and pointing the camera straight up for a fascinating perspective as all the vertical lines converge towards a vanishing point within the frame. I turned the photo black and white and inverted it as I think that makes the photo stand out even more.
About Hakon Soreide
Born in Norway in 1974, and discovering I knew how to paint in 1999, my work spans a wide variety of styles and media, all the way from traditional oils, pencil drawings and encaustics to digital paintings, 3D renderings and computer generated imagery, with styles ranging from the completely abstract to the sensually figurative.
